Method
- In a kadai, add oil, splutter mustard seeds, cumin and chana dal.

- Add curry leaves, onion and green chilli. Saute it until the onion turns transparent.

- Add chopped Ashgourd and saute.

- After sauting for a minute or two, add salt and turmeric powder.

- Cook it covered for about 10-15 min until it is done by sauteing in between. No need to add water, it will get cooked from its own steam.
- Serve it with rice.
