Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rava
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Maida
  • Water
  • Cashews

Instructions

  • First soak the rava for a few minutes by spraying some water, enough to wet the batch. Then add Maida and sugar and add water little by little and mix it to a hard consistency. Sugar tends to release water, so make sure not to add more water in the initial stage. Add cashews and mix. Keep it for 5-10 min.
  • Make sure the constitency is thick enough to form layers when poured with a spoon
  • When the oil is hot enough, pour a small ladle of batter. Wait till it comes up, then pour the next one. Repeat it for the consecutive ones.
  • Flip it over and let it get done. keep the flame low or else the inner cavity will still be raw while the outer portion be brown enough.
  • Transfer when done.
